The aim of the studies is to acquire knowledge of the properties and structure of chemical pollutants, the hazardous properties of substances and their adverse effects. Graduates know the analytical methods for their determination and evaluation of the state of the environment. They are able to work with valid legislation and standards aimed at protecting the environment. They can use the prescribed methodologies and procedures to analyse the state of the environment, operate technological processes and chemical-engineering processes when checking environmental pollution. Graduates can work in different manufacturing and processing industries within the public and private sectors.
