Graduates of the Master´s programme of Environmental Engineering acquire comprehensive knowledge of applied and fundamental research, of designing (assessing) technological impacts on environmental quality, modelling and simulation of the environmental pollution processes (effects of ionizing radiation, water, air, soil, waste management), the use of environmental biotechnology, environmental monitoring, computer data processing and their evaluation. They are able to implement the environmental principles in engineering design and to direct specialist engineers so that these principles might be met, and lead to sustainable development of a company, being able to creatively exploit the knowledge gained in applied research and manufacturing practice in the field of environmental engineering. The graduates are ready to hold executive and managerial positions in the public, private and third sectors of environmental protection. They introduce and use modern means and methods to solve environmental pollution problems.
