€ 35 - electronic application
The administrative fee for the admission procedure is related to providing the organizational backup to the admission procedure. If you are interested in more study programmes, the administrative fee € 35 is paid for each study programme. In that case, you must send the application for each study programme separately. The administrative fee for the admission procedure is not refundable.
Students will be admitted to study on the basis of meeting the basic conditions for admission to study under University Law 131/2002 Coll., § 56, Article 1, and the evaluation of their secondary education results. The average of the final marks of the last two years of their study at the secondary school and the average of the final examinations in the oral theoretical and practical part are evaluated.

Graduates of the Bachelor´s study programme of Ecology and Biodiversity Protection can analyse and solve practical problems and tasks of nature and biodiversity conservation. They can apply their knowledge and skills in nature protection organizations and at lower levels of government bodies and in local government as well as in non-governmental organizations focused on nature conservation, mainly in an area concerning communication and solutions to simpler tasks of designing the development environmental projects.
Graduates of the Bachelor´s study programme of Landscape Use and Protection are able to manage the problems of mutual relations between abiotic and biotic components of natural ecosystems in the landscape and anthropogenic elements of the landscape ecosystem. They are qualified to work at lower management positions in the state or municipality conservation administration, in the environmental or conservation organisations, in industries or for the NGOs.
Graduates of the Bachelor´s study programme of Forensic and Criminalistic Environmental Sciences have adequate theoretical and practical knowledge of basic chemical, physical, biological and environmental disciplines, including forensic sciences. They can find a job in various industries and in the public administration; they are able to implement new legislative regulations and standards in the full cycle of environment and working environment protection. They are also able to work independently, especially on the analyses of environmental protection and risk assessment, to administrate basic professional tasks in the field of civil protection, fire and rescue service, nature conservation, etc. The graduates can also work in positions of managers, developers, technologists as well as legal experts on the assessment of production and human activities impact on the environment, including crime. They might also work in the laboratories or for the police, or in the Customs Criminal Offices as experts in assessing criminal acts and violation in the field of nature conservation and the environment.

Applicants who graduated from the first level of university studies will submit the original or verified copy of the diploma, the copy of the State Examination Certificate, study results (weighted study average) verified by the Student Administration Office by 31 July 2025.

In accordance with University Law 131/2002 Coll., § 56, Article 2, the basic condition to be admitted to Master´s degree studies is a successful completion of a Bachelor´s degree study. In terms of § 57, Article 1 of the same law, another condition to be admitted to study is the completion of a Bachelor's study in the field of study identical or related to the Master´s study programme to which applicants submit their applications. The admission procedure shall be carried out through a selection procedure with no entrance examinations. The selection procedure shall evaluate the student´s results achieved during their Bachelor´s study, namely:
- weighted study average within the Bachelor´s degree studies (maximum 30 points)
- average of the final state examination results (maximum 30 points)

Graduates of the Master´s study programme of Ecology and Biodiversity Protection are experts on nature conservation, landscape, ecosystems, biodiversity and the environment, also in taking care of protected areas and their ecosystems, of sustainable development in biosphere reserves, national parks and protected landscape areas. They are able to provide expert advisory services, coordinate the NGO´s activities and landscape conservation in protected areas, provide active care about national and world natural heritage, participate in research and monitoring the ecosystems in protected areas, carry out managerial activities, participate in making policy documents.
Graduates of the Master´s study programme of Landscape Use and Protection are capable to solve problems related to landscape and environment components threats at a local as well as regional levels. They are able to analyse and synthetize the achieved konwledge, evaluate them and propose measures leading to nature and landscape protection. Furthermore, they have a good grasp of the knowledge of environmental problems connected to landscape care; they are able to use, interpret and generalize data databases; make prognosis at local, regional as well as national levels; use computer equipment and information systems (GIS) to solve various tasks.
Graduates of the Master´s study programme of Environmental Engineering obtain comprehensive knowledge of applied and basic research by combining fundamental knowledge of chemistry, biochemistry, physics, biology, and microbiology with the knowledge of separation processes and equipment, manufacturing and environmental technologies, legislation and the limits of standard procedure, with regard to the economic recovery of production processes. The graduates are able to implement the environmental principles to guide the engineering design and engineering specialists, so that these principles are met and lead to the sustainable development of society. Graduates are able to competently hold executive and managerial positions within the environment protection in the public, private and third sectors; they are able to represent organisations in dealing with the environmental authorities in matters of waste, water, air, EIA, IPPC etc.
