Ecology and Biodiversity Protection

What will you study

Graduates of the Bachelor´s study programme of Ecology and Biodiversity Protection can analyse and solve practical problems and the problems of nature and biodiversity conservation. They understand the relationship between living, non-living, and anthropogenic components of ecosystems. The knowledge of functioning the ecosystems and landscape systems can be applied in solving the current problems of protection and rational exploitation of the landscape. The graduate can find a job in nature conservation organizations at lower levels of government, local authorities, or the NGOs aimed at nature conservation.

The study program (exercises and lectures) is taught only in the Slovak language.
